marriage is not set up by God. I was married in a courthouse. I am just as married as those who have church weddings. Why? Because the state provides the license. Without the state license, a church wedding has no meaning - though it may have religious meaning.

wow... broad paintbrush... Not all Italians are behind the mafia. I don't know if Ms. Knox is guilty or not. However, I do know that simply because she is from the U.S. does not automatically exclude her from abiding by the laws of a country where she was residing at the time.

Alan: the U.S. is not a theocracy and the Bible is not the law of the land. The U.S. is a country of millions of people of different religious beliefs - from mainstream Christianity to Islam, Scientology and all sorts of small cults.
