I'm here to officially report that the increased number of states who are allowing same-sex marriages has indeed affected my heterosexual marriage. My husband and I have gotten way too many invites to weddings across the U.S., including two recent ones in Utah.

Speaking as one who was educated in Europe all the way through high school and the U.S. for undergrad and grad degrees, I think the main difference lies in how the school function is seen. Where I am from, the school is just academics. There are no extracurricular activities.
